Nigeria Union of Local Government Employee (NULGE); Inaugurate It’s Executive Members for Lagos Island Branch On Tuesday 12th December 2023
The Nigeria Union of local government employee ( NULGE) inaugurate it’s Executive members at the local government secretariat Isale Eko, Lagos island Nulge branch. Comrade Adetayo Gafar (A.K.A T Gaf ) introduced the new nulge members and their various portfolios that would represent each departments / units for the next four years to the gathering .The nulge chairman seized the privileged to appreciate the council boss for his good sense of humour . Hon prince Tijani Adetoyese Olusi in his rational welfare to the staffs of the local government, he thereby hinted the staff that as passionate as the council chairman that he has graciously approved the Christmas/ new year festive bonus for the staffs of the local government.
The Executive chairman Hon prince Tijani Adetoyese Olusi ably represented by the vice chairman prince Muhammad Rosul Eshilokun thereby urged the newly nulge executives that would represent their various office, to represent diligently and ensures proper representative and collide as a team for the betterment of the local government at large , the vice chairman further buttress in his address that the present Administration at the local government led by Hon prince Tijani Adetoyese Olusi has a great passion that is mostly known for the local government in his words for the executive chairman to be able to do more and as expected regards the welfare for the local government officials, the ((IGR) must be duly improved that the revenue officials should strive to generate reasonable increase revenue into the local government treasury .
The council manager Prince (Dr) Adegbola Sunday Olujobi in his address charged the new nulge executives to live upto expectation in their bid representing their various departments/ Units the council manager reiterate that the council has the vision to Carry out laughable projects to take the local government to the desired and enviable height but to achieve all the desired projects the local government internally generated revenue must be drastically improved , the council manager stated that for instance the local government envisioned to construct an edifice new council secretariat that would be of pride to the Lagos island local government. The council manager thereby stated that pleasant projects can only be achieved by improving on the internally generated revenue in order for the local government to attain it’s aims and objectives.
