To maintain a clean, safe, and sustainable environment within Lagos Island Local Government through effective waste management, pollution control, sanitation enforcement, and public health protection — aligned with WHO, NESREA, and UN SDG 11.

What We Do

  • Coordinate waste collection, disposal, and sanitation monitoring
  • Enforce environmental health and sanitation regulations
  • Inspect premises and public spaces for compliance
  • Run public education campaigns on hygiene and waste disposal
  • Collaborate with LAWMA and state agencies
  • Coordinate community clean-up and drainage clearing
