Day 1- Lagos Island Local Government Trained 30 Staffs of The Local Government On ICT
As part of Motivation and Growth Mindset Development, the Local Government under the Administration of the Executive Chairman Hon Tijani Adetoyese Olusi organized a 2 Day Workshop Training on ICT Through the Information Communication Technology Unit for 30 staffs of the Local Government on Wednesday 17th and Thursday 18th April 2024 10am prompt at the Local Government Vocational Education Institute Teslim Elias Primary school Isale -Eko.
In the Lecture delivered by the Council Manager Dr Prince Sunday Adegbola Olujobi explained the definition of ICT, Components, its usefulness to mankind, Advantage and Disadvantage especially the social media aspect of it and encourages the Participants to keep Learning to improve themselves that no knowledge is a waste.
The workshop was focused on four major Area’s that’s the Introduction to Computer, Introduction to Data Management, Microsoft Office Packages and Computer Hardware Management.
Alhaja Faosat Agboola a facilitator at the workshop trained the participants on how to work on Microsoft Office Packages which Excel is inclusive.
The Head of ICT Unit Mr, Abdulai A. Obafemi went over all the Topic’s slated for the training to ensure the Participants gained something tangible from the workshop and expressly appreciates the Executive Chairman and the Management team for this awesome initiative.
