The 2025 Procurement Retreat, which took place from December 9th to 10th, 2024.

The event focused on Roles of Procurement Process and Quality Services at the Local Government Level.

Executive Chairman Hon. Adetoyese Tijani Olusi emphasized the importance of having a procurement plan and valid fiscal policy.

He noted that planning helps list requirements, establish timelines, and ensure smooth procurement processes.

The Retreat featured expert presentations, including one by Mr. Ambali Taofiki Oluwakemi. On Roles of Procurement Process and Efficient Procurement Plan.  He stressed the importance of adhering to procurement rules for efficiency and effectiveness.

Other key topics discussed included Local Government autonomy and its impact on Council Operations by second facilitator Mr Osuporu Samuel Olagunloye. The event was attended by key stakeholders, including the Executive Chairman, vice chairman, supervisory councilors, and management team members.
