Lagos Island Local Government Holds Stakeholders Forum in Preparation for The Fiscal Year 2025 Budget

The Executive Chairman Lagos Island Local Government Hon.Prince Tijani Adetoyese Olusi, Holds Stakeholders Forum in Preparation for The Fiscal Year 2025 Budget .

Taking into cognisance of the desires of the the residents of Lagos Island Local Government, the Executive Chairman, Hon. Prince Tijani Adetoyese Olusi promised to continue to attend to the needs of the residents of Lagos Island especially infrastructures and programmes that will have direct impact on the lives of the people.

He mentioned this amidst the deliberations and expectations at the stakeholders forum held on Tuesday 10th December 2024 at the Council’s Secretariat.

 

The Executive Chairman, Mayor of Lagos while delivering his speech appreciated the management staff and the political holder’s for their support and understanding for making his dreams for Island a reality.

 

Council Boss made it known to all and sundry that most of the projects embarked upon in this year 2024 as stated in the budget has been completed and some are about 90% completion. Some of which are New Secretariat building at the Headquarter and others.

 While speaking at the event, he said: “The participation of the different stakeholders is to ensure that critical areas are taken into consideration aside from what the administration may be planning to do for the people in various communities in Lago Island Local Government.

“There will be continuous distribution of cash palliative to all the indigent and residents across all the wards in Lagos Island to ease the economy hardship that people are facing presently in the Country”.

The Council Boss responded to theirs requests as this will aid the Local Government in preparation of the fiscal year 2025 budget.

Also various Stakeholders were present, traditional rulers, community leaders, market men and women, artisans, youth representatives, corporate organizations, physically challenged people and other stakeholders in Lagos Island Local Government.
