To address these problems, the administration of Hon. Prince Tijani Adetoyese Olusi, the Executive Chairman of Lagos Island Local Government, has embarked on a massive rehabilitation project of Agoro Street, Oju-Olokun Street. Drainage & Road Interlocking. The project aims to improve the quality of life and economic activities in the area by providing a durable, functional and aesthetically pleasing road network and drainage system.
The project involves the construction of concrete interlocking blocks on the roads, which are designed to withstand heavy traffic and weather conditions. The interlocking blocks also allow for easy maintenance and repair in case of damage. The project also involves the installation of new drainage pipes and channels, which are properly aligned and connected to the main drainage system. The drainage pipes and channels are also covered with concrete slabs to prevent littering and blockage.
